Job Summary

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Manufacturing Associate-Production in Lancaster, NY. This on-site 2nd shift role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented production professional with light manufacturing experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

In this role, you will support the assembly of automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated production processes. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble automotive quick connectors according to established work instructions, part procedures, and quality standards.
- Install O-rings, clips, shipping plugs, caps, and related components based on production specifications.
- Operate manual, semi-automated, and fully automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform leak testing, product verification, and in-process inspections to ensure product quality and completeness.
- Monitor equipment performance, support basic machine setup, complete minor repairs, and help minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following 5S, safety, environmental, and company procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour plus shift differential.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Location: Lancaster, NY.
- Workplace Type: On-site.
- Start Date: ASAP.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assemble automotive quick connectors and related components in a production environment.
- Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform product inspections, leak testing, and quality verification.
- Support daily production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree, GED, required.
- 6 to 12 months of related light manufacturing experience required.
- Basic computer skills and experience using handheld scanners required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures, work instructions, and part specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to support basic machine setup, monitoring, and minor troubleshooting.
- Reliable attendance, positive teamwork, and the ability to meet daily production expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience operating automated production equipment.
- Familiarity with Leading2Lean systems.
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Experience performing quality inspections, product verification, and testing procedures.
- Experience training or supporting other manufacturing associates on production procedures.
