We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate for a contract opportunity in Garden Grove, CA. This role supports production, inventory, packaging, and shipment preparation in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
The Manufacturing Associate will work with production orders, packaged plastic parts, barcode-controlled inventory, and customer-specific packaging requirements. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule, supportive leadership, and a positive team environment where employees can build manufacturing, production, and stockroom experience. The assignment is expected to run through December, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and organize production orders in a barcode-controlled stockroom.
- Package plastic parts according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare shipments accurately and ensure materials are ready for timely distribution.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, labeling, scanning, and storage procedures.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Support production and operations teams with general manufacturing and material handling tasks as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19 to $20 per hour, with the assignment noted at $20 per hour.
- Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Overtime required when needed.
- Contract assignment through December, with possible extension.
- Location: Garden Grove, CA.
- Temperature-controlled facility.
- Safety vest and goggles provided.
- Receive and stock production orders in a controlled stockroom environment.
- Package plastic parts and prepare shipments for customer orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory using barcode-controlled processes.
- Ensure packaging meets customer specifications and production requirements.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, stockroom, or a similar hands-on operations role preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Must provide own steel-toed shoes.
- Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Safety-minded with the ability to follow workplace procedures and use provided safety equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, inventory, or stockroom experience.
- Experience using barcode scanning or inventory control systems.
- Familiarity with packaging requirements, order preparation, or shipment staging.
- Prior experience handling plastic parts or production materials.
