Manufacturing Associate – Label Inspection
Location: Altavista, VA 24517
Shift: First Shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 4 days/week) | Second Shift available
Pay: $15.00/hour (First Shift) | $15.50/hour (Second Shift)
Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for inspecting, labeling, and packaging raw and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. This role may require maintaining accurate records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and may involve working in a clean-room environment. Moderate supervision is provided, and employees are expected to perform duties with attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
Inspect labels and packaging on containers to ensure accuracy and quality.
Label and package raw and finished products according to standard procedures.
Maintain accurate records as required by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
Work in a clean-room or controlled environment when necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
Detail-oriented with strong observational skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic reading, writing, and record-keeping skills.
Previous manufacturing or labeling experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information:
Overtime is paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 per week.
Position may require drug testing prior to employment.
