We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Equipment Mechanic to join a high-performing team in Mount Vernon, WA. This is a full-time opportunity with strong long-term potential for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety and precision, and enjoys working with a variety of construction and rental equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform major and minor repairs on hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, diesel, and gas-powered equipment
Maintain and repair small gas-powered tools, trailers, heavy construction equipment, and vehicles up to 5-yard dump trucks
Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and equipment testing
Inspect and service equipment to meet manufacturer specifications
Maintain safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Use schematics, diagnostic software, and welding techniques as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanic experience
Strong knowledge of construction equipment systems and repairs
Familiarity with rental trailer fleet maintenance preferred
Must have own tools for equipment repair
Intermediate to expert understanding of schematics and diagnostics
Computer experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Safety-focused and team-oriented

Shop Hours:
Monday–Friday: 7am–5pm
Saturday: 8am–2pm (rotating)
