Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, production, and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and complete repairs to reduce downtime.
- Inspect, repair, and replace motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, pumps, conveyors, and related components.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to support accurate repairs.
- Document maintenance activities, parts usage, inspections, and work orders in a CMMS or maintenance tracking system.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Seattle, WA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing, production, packaging, processing, or automated equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance inspections and corrective repairs to support production uptime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, while maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.

- 3+ years of industrial, manufacturing, production, facility, or equipment maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with motors, pumps, bearings, belts, conveyors, sensors, switches, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related industrial equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical controls, motors, and automated equipment.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
- Ability to read schematics, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently, respond to urgent equipment issues, and communicate clearly with production and maintenance teams.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

- PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience.
- Technical, vocational, industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechatronics training.
- Experience in manufacturing, food and beverage, aerospace, distribution, or another equipment-driven environment.
- Experience identifying recurring equipment problems and recommending process or reliability improvements.
