We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing food manufacturing operation in Fresno, CA. This is a permanent, in-office role offering competitive compensation ($65,000–$80,000 annually) and full benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure production lines and conveyor belts run efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Complete work orders and preventive maintenance (PMs) on a daily and monthly basis.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, following all SOPs and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Rewire electrical components, motors, and troubleshoot equipment using laptop connections.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment safely.
- Collaborate with line operators and supervisors to proactively keep lines running.
- Accurately complete downtime sheets, GMP logs, and other required documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in food production, conveyor belt systems, and production line operations is required.
- Strong mechanical and industrial electrical background.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Basic computer/data entry skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Desire to grow within the Maintenance Department.
- Food Manufacturing industry experience.
