The Maintenance Technician will play an important role in keeping residential units and common areas well maintained, safe, clean, and ready for residents. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare apartments, units, and property areas for move-ins and move-outs, including repairs, touch-ups, cleaning support, and general maintenance.
- Install, maintain, repair, and replace basic plumbing fixtures, hardware, equipment, and property components as needed.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, patching, minor carpentry, and general handyman repairs.
- Support grounds maintenance, curb appeal, and overall property cleanliness.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner while following supervisor direction.
- Maintain a safe work environment and communicate repair needs, supply needs, and property issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Prepare residential units and property areas for move-ins, move-outs, and resident occupancy.
- Complete general maintenance, repair, painting, patching, plumbing, and handyman tasks.
- Support property upkeep, safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

- 1 to 2 years of maintenance, property maintenance, handyman, facilities, or related repair experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing fixtures, hardware replacement, painting, patching, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Dependable, service-oriented, and able to follow direction from supervisors.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a property operations team.
- Ability to communicate maintenance needs, supply requests, and property concerns clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in residential property management, apartment maintenance, or multifamily housing maintenance.
- Experience preparing vacant units for resident move-ins and move-outs.
- Familiarity with grounds upkeep, curb appeal standards, and common area maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with residents, vendors, and property staff.
