Maintenance Technician – Columbia, SC
Direct-Hire, $50-55K, based on experience
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
On-call availability required
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role requires a professional candidate with proven experience in property and building maintenance, who can deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in general building and property maintenance
Proficiency with electrical, plumbing, and general building mechanical systems
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
Familiarity with work order technology
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently
Preferred Experience:
Background in commercial property maintenance
Skills in painting, drywall, and light carpentry or construction projects
Responsibilities:
Perform timely system and building repairs as well as preventative maintenance
Conduct inspections and address maintenance needs with minimal supervision
Provide exceptional customer service when responding to work orders and emergency requests
Ensure a safe and well-maintained property environment at all times
