Job Summary

A growing property management organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, Property Management for a direct hire opportunity in San Ramon, CA. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily maintenance operations, including service requests, repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and overall property upkeep.
- Lead, train, schedule, and support maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and outside contractors to manage projects, repairs, service contracts, and performance expectations.
- Partner with the Property Manager on maintenance planning, budgeting support, compliance needs, inspections, and operational priorities.
- Perform or supervise hands-on maintenance work involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, general repairs, and building systems.
- Ensure safety policies, maintenance procedures, building standards, and documentation practices are followed consistently.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Oversee property maintenance operations, service requests, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Lead maintenance technicians, assign daily work, monitor completion, and support quality performance.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, repair projects, and service needs in partnership with property management.
- Support safe, compliant, and efficient property operations through documentation, communication, and hands-on problem solving.

- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in property management, multifamily, commercial property, facilities, or a related environment.
- Prior experience leading, supervising, training, or scheduling maintenance technicians or service teams.
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and common property systems.
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues, prioritize urgent requests, and ensure timely resolution.
- Strong vendor coordination, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, resident or tenant service, and professional accountability.
- Ability to work hands-on as needed while also managing team performance and daily maintenance priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting maintenance budgets, inspections, compliance requirements, or capital improvement projects.
- Familiarity with property management work order systems or maintenance tracking software.
- HVAC, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, or other maintenance-related certifications are a plus.
- Experience in a customer-focused property environment with a strong emphasis on service response and tenant or resident satisfaction.
