A well-established and growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead first-shift maintenance operations at a modern processing facility in Hanford, CA. What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead maintenance execution across the plant to ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and food safety compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supervising maintenance technicians, PM planners, and parts room personnel
Driving equipment uptime and minimizing production downtime
Owning preventive maintenance programs (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) via CMMS (COGZ)
Tracking and reporting maintenance KPIs (PM compliance, work orders, performance metrics)
Conducting daily huddles, coaching, performance reviews, and corrective actions
Coordinating maintenance activities with production schedules and priorities
Responding to and leading emergency breakdown troubleshooting
Supporting installations, shutdowns, major repairs, and capital projects
Implementing 5S and shop organization standards
Ensuring compliance with GMPs, OSHA/Cal-OSHA, USDA, PMO, FSMA, and FSSC 22000
Maintaining accurate documentation, inventory usage, and SOPs
Partnering closely with Production and Quality teams
Participating in audits, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts


What We’re Looking For
This is not an entry-level leadership role. We’re seeking a proven maintenance professional who can lead teams, hold standards, and deliver results in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Minimum qualifications (one of the following):

Associate’s or Technical Degree plus 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience
OR
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role


Key skills & abilities:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Solid understanding of safety and regulatory standards
Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
Comfortable working in industrial environments (hot/cold, wet/dry, heights, confined spaces)
Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
