A leading food and beverage production organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across high-speed manufacturing plants in Hanford, CA. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians, planners, and parts personnel while partnering closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and plant leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime, reduce unplanned downtime, and support efficient food production.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, preventive maintenance planners, and parts room personnel, including work assignments, coaching, performance monitoring, and training.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, equipment logs, SOPs, inventory usage, and KPI tracking through COGZ CMMS.
- Troubleshoot emergency breakdowns, coordinate major repairs, support equipment installations, and help plan shutdown activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, 5S standards, equipment reliability improvements, and maintenance department organization.
- Enforce OSHA, GMP, USDA, PMO, FSMA, and FSSC 22000 compliance while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead maintenance operations across food manufacturing production equipment and facility systems.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs, CMMS work orders, maintenance KPIs, and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance team members in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Support safety, quality, regulatory compliance, audits, inspections, and cross-functional production needs.
- Associate’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent hands-on experience required.
- 5 or more years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- 3 or more years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Experience in food manufacturing, beverage production, or a similar regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, equipment troubleshooting, work order management, and maintenance documentation.
- Experience with COGZ CMMS or similar computerized maintenance management systems.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, GMP, USDA, PMO, FSMA, and FSSC 22000 standards.
- Ability to lead emergency maintenance response, prioritize competing work orders, and communicate effectively with production and leadership teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, accountability, and a hands-on leadership style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-plant or large-scale food manufacturing maintenance operations.
- Background with equipment upgrades, fabrication, plant layout changes, shutdown planning, and reliability improvement projects.
- Experience implementing 5S, continuous improvement, and maintenance KPI reporting.
- Strong parts room, inventory control, and maintenance planning experience.
