Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Fresno, CA within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and industrial electrical skills who enjoys keeping production equipment running efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Maintenance Supervisor will support daily production by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, making repairs, and helping identify improvements that reduce downtime and improve safety. This opportunity offers a stable manufacturing environment, supportive plant leadership, teamwork across operations and maintenance, and room to continue advancing within the maintenance function.
Qualified candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working any shift, overtime, weekends, and on-call assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep production lines running efficiently by troubleshooting equipment issues and completing mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Complete assigned work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, downtime documentation, and GMP logs accurately and on time.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout SOPs, and help identify and eliminate unsafe conditions or practices.
- Perform general maintenance support duties such as lubrication, cleanup, painting, power washing, lifting, hauling, and related plant tasks.
- Assist operators, supervisors, and maintenance team members with equipment issues, process improvements, and daily production support.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, zoom booms, sky tracs, and other equipment as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
- Benefits include medical, dental, and vision.
- Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and on-call weekend assignments as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support production line uptime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Complete daily and monthly PMs, assigned work orders, downtime sheets, and GMP logs.
- Work with line operators and supervisors to proactively identify equipment needs and reduce downtime.
- Rewire electrical buckets, motors, and electrical components throughout the plant.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred, ideally in a manufacturing or food and beverage production environment.
- Strong industrial electrical background with the ability to rewire motors and electrical components.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to understand packaging equipment and production processes.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and the ability to connect a laptop to equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, zoom boom, sky trac, and similar equipment.
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to perform a variety of tasks as assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
- Must have appropriate sensory acuity to identify and respond to normal, abnormal, and alarm conditions.
- Ability to wear a respirator, including SCBA and/or cartridge type, with physical clearance if required.
- Must be able to logically troubleshoot complex problems and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- May be required to pass an aptitude test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in food and beverage production, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing.
- Desire to grow and advance within a maintenance department.
- Experience supporting GMP, safety, and production efficiency standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
