AppleOne is actively recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support a leading juice and wine manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role ensures efficient equipment operation, plant reliability, and safe production processes within a fast-paced beverage environment.
About the Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance staff, coordinate daily repairs, and troubleshoot complex equipment used in juice extraction, fruit processing, fermentation, bottling, and storage operations. This position is ideal for a skilled industrial maintenance professional with strong leadership capabilities and experience in beverage, food, juice, or wine production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise maintenance technicians and manage daily work schedules to support production demand.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on juice and wine processing equipment.
Maintain and repair production machinery such as pumps, pasteurizers, high-pressure pumps, evaporators, stills, valves, crushers, presses, fermentation equipment, and filtration systems.
Oversee maintenance of support systems, including boilers, air compressors, ammonia compressors, thermal storage units, condensers, vacuum pumps, ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and fluid-handling meters.
Ensure safe and compliant handling of chemicals used in sanitation, refrigeration, and processing support equipment.
Lead fabrication, machining, welding (MIG & TIG), and equipment manufacturing needed for plant operations.
Perform and supervise 480-volt, 3-phase electrical work, including diagnosing motor starters and motor control circuits.
Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance crew performance.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are executed to maintain uptime and reduce equipment failures.
Support quality and safety standards required for beverage and winery operations, including sanitation and food-grade equipment requirements.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic; supervisory experience in a juice, wine, beverage, or food production facility strongly preferred.
Valid Driver License.
Strong technical skills with:
MIG & TIG welding
Industrial instrumentation
Machine shop and pump repair
Fabrication (Fabricator Journeyman preferred)
480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems
Ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as required by production schedules.
