We are seeking a Maintenance Senior Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Cayey, PR within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As the Maintenance Senior Lead, you will support preventive maintenance execution, guide maintenance technicians, coordinate troubleshooting efforts, and partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the preventive maintenance program, ensuring scheduled maintenance tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, utility, and facility-related issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Oversee daily assignments and performance of maintenance technicians, including coaching, training, and technical guidance.
- Review work orders, prioritize maintenance activities based on operational needs, and ensure timely and accurate documentation in the CMMS.
- Identify and recommend improvements to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency.
- Coordinate external vendors and contractors, support equipment installations and upgrades, and participate in audits, KPIs, root cause analysis, and engineering projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead preventive maintenance execution and support reliability improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Supervise and guide maintenance technicians, including daily task assignment, coaching, and technical support.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, facility, and utility system issues.
- Support equipment installation, modification, upgrade, validation, and continuous improvement projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading or supervising technical personnel.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or utility systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and related documentation.
- Proficiency with preventive maintenance methodologies and CMMS systems.
- Experience using Lean or continuous improvement tools.
- Knowledge of engineering analysis tools such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
- SAP experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull materials within company guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and standard production floor conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting Corporate Engineering projects, audits, equipment validation, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives.
- Prior experience improving spare parts inventory control, maintenance KPIs, and equipment downtime reduction.
- Background in regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environments.
