Maintenance Technician Mechanic
-Location: Camarillo, CA
-Pay: $24-30/hr DOE
-Shift: 1st shift
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility and production equipment while supporting a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing environment.
-Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with complex manufacturing equipment, mechanical drive systems, and packaging equipment.
• Basic plumbing experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard software programs.

Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment. • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. • Assist production employees with machine changeovers. • Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and packaging equipment. • Maintain accurate maintenance repair logs and preventive maintenance records. • Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris. • Follow all safety, food safety, and quality standards. • Properly store and maintain chemicals, tools, and maintenance parts. • Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and foreign material control procedures. • Identify and report any food safety, security, or equipment concerns. • Read blueprints and follow technical instructions as needed.
