Maintenance Mechanic Technician
-Location: Oxnard, CA
-Schedule: 1st shift
-Pay: $24-32/hr DOE
*Must have recent manufacturing maintenance experience*

-Position Summary:
• We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facility equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards.

-Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Assist production teams with machine changeovers
• Maintain proper storage and handling of chemicals and maintenance parts
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
• Follow Master Cleaning Schedule requirements
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation including maintenance logs and PM records

-Food Safety & Compliance:
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including hygiene and contamination prevention
• Support pest control efforts and report any activity
• Maintain clean workspaces to prevent foreign material contamination
• Accurately document maintenance activities and chemical usage
• Report any food safety or security concerns promptly

-Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing:
• Complex manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical drive systems
• Packaging equipment
• Basic electrical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
