AppleOne is currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, facility maintenance, and maintenance team development. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on maintenance leader who understands the pace of food and beverage production and can drive uptime, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across a high-volume manufacturing environment.
The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving maintenance systems, supporting capital projects, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, environmental, and quality standards. This is a strong opportunity for a maintenance professional who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and partnering closely with operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, train, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors while promoting safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Plan, prioritize, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for production equipment, packaging systems, utilities, boilers, compressors, and facility infrastructure.
- Monitor equipment performance, downtime trends, recurring failures, and maintenance KPIs to improve reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and eliminate chronic equipment issues.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, controls, and PLC-related issues.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, contractors, equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, sanitation, quality, and environmental requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

- Lead maintenance operations for production equipment, packaging systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
- Improve preventive maintenance programs, equipment uptime, downtime performance, and overall reliability.
- Manage maintenance budgets, work orders, spare parts inventory, vendors, contractors, and capital projects.
- Support safety, food safety, sanitation, quality, environmental compliance, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of maintenance leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, utility systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, CMMS.
- Strong budget management, project management, planning, scheduling, and maintenance documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in an industrial food production environment with exposure to machinery, utilities, equipment, and active production operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, dairy, bakery, or consumer packaged goods, CPG, environments.
- Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation programs, and food safety regulations.
- Experience managing capital projects, equipment installations, commissioning, and maintenance improvement initiatives.
- Experience establishing and tracking KPIs such as preventive maintenance completion rate, downtime reduction, work order backlog, MTBF, maintenance costs, and response time performance.
