The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installs, repairs, and maintains industrial machinery, tools in a manufacturing or plant setting and ensures proper functioning through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate for Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of general electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge. Additional responsibilities include general building maintenance and basic facility repairs. Repairs, installs, and replaces components in industrial equipment and facility as needed.
***Must have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
*** Knowledge of OSHA standards in a manufacturing environment, and safety standards is a plus 5.
***Able to perform physically demanding tasks (e.g. lifting, climbing)
***Must have knowledge of the basic use of small power tools and hand tools.
