The Mailroom Supervisor oversees daily storage and inventory operations, ensuring products and supplies are organized, stocked, tracked, and distributed efficiently. This lead position provides team guidance, supports operational coverage, and works closely with internal departments to maintain service, safety, and workplace standards.





Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members, reinforcing procedures, service expectations, and operational standards while supporting cross-training and coverage needs.
- Oversee the daily organization, maintenance, and operation of product closets and storage areas, ensuring they remain clean, accessible, properly labeled, and stocked.

- Monitor inventory levels and product movement, oversee cycle counts, and identify replenishment needs, excess inventory, damaged items, or other issues requiring escalation.

- Coordinate supply ordering, stocking, and organization to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

- Oversee and support the receipt, sorting, processing, staging, delivery, pickup, and transportation of mail, packages, products, and business materials.

- Provide professional support to internal departments, ensuring requests are handled consistently and communicating status, timing, availability, and escalations as needed.

- Maintain accurate logs, inventory records, and reporting while ensuring compliance with established safety, security, and Workplace Operations procedures.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in mailroom, facilities, warehouse, inventory, logistics, office services, or a related operational environment.

- Previous leadership, supervisory, or lead experience preferred, with the ability to provide direction and support to team members.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with inventory management, supply ordering, cycle counts, or stockroom operations preferred.

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with internal departments, vendors, and team members.

- Ability to identify operational issues, shortages, discrepancies, or safety concerns and escalate them appropriately.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and assisting with daily mail, package, supply, and material handling activities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn inventory, tracking, and workplace management systems.
- Ability to lift and move packages, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs as required by the position.

- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant training is a plus.
