Mailroom Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Mailroom Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting law firms or professional office services, and will be adaptable to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Location: 401 West A St, Suite 2600, San Diego, CA 92101
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Dress Code: Business Casual
Key Responsibilities:
• Process copy and scan requests, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
• Operate high-volume copy, binding, and finishing equipment (including drills, binders, and scanners).
• Ensure convenience copiers are stocked, maintained, and functioning properly.
• Perform quality checks on outgoing packages and coordinate overnight deliveries.
• Assist with document preparation, filing, and related office support services.
• Deliver materials internally within the office; light lifting, standing, and walking required (carts and dollies provided).
• Occasionally support reception and hospitality services when needed.
• Maintain supply levels and provide excellent customer service to attorneys and staff.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience; experience in a law firm or professional office environment strongly preferred.
• Copy/print center experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and communication skills are essential.
