Job Title: Mailroom Services Specialist

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Health Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

Job Summary

This role supports high-volume mailroom operations within a corporate environment, focusing on mail processing, shipping coordination, and distribution. The position requires strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and independence in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate is efficient, adaptable, and capable of managing large mail volumes while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply postage to outgoing mail using Pitney Bowes equipment
• Create shipping labels for UPS, FedEx, and USPS using various software systems
• Sort, organize, and distribute high-volume mail (up to 4,000 pieces daily)
• Prepare mail and documents for scanning and processing
• Deliver mail across the facility in a timely and accurate manner
• Operate mailroom equipment and maintain workflow efficiency
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Maintain organized work areas and follow operational procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in mailroom, shipping, or office services preferred
• Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping systems
• Experience with Pitney Bowes or similar postage machines preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Office/mailroom environment with high-volume workflow
• Standing for extended periods (up to half the workday)
• Walking up to 5 miles per day within the facility
• Frequent handling and movement of mail and packages
• Regular use of computers and mailroom equipment
