Job Title: Mailroom Associate

Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Mailroom Associate. You will be responsible for sorting, staging, and delivering incoming mail and packages across campus. Use scanning devices and software to track packages, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely handling of outgoing mail and shipments. Requires frequent walking, lifting, and pushing/pulling carts.
Schedule & Pay:
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pay rate: $20/hr
Responsibilities:
• Sort and stage incoming mail and packages
• Use scanners and mobile apps to check in packages
• Deliver items to campus mailstops using maps and carts
• Pick up and stage outgoing packages for shipping teams
• Post and sort letter mail via USPS postage machine
• Prepare and label outgoing FedEx shipments
• Handle intercampus package transfers as requested
• Look up tracking details and respond to customer emails
• Maintain flexibility to adjust to daily needs and emergencies
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Basic Microsoft Office and email communication skills
• Ability to read maps and follow delivery schedules
• Strong customer service, organizational, and team skills
• Ability to work independently after training
