We are seeking experienced Brake Press Machine Operators for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Ana, CA. This role is ideal for skilled manufacturing professionals with press brake, machine operation, sheet metal forming, or metal fabrication experience who take pride in producing precise, high-quality parts.

Operators will join a precision metal fabrication and contract manufacturing setting that produces metal parts, enclosures, cabinets, racks, and assemblies for a variety of industries, including power infrastructure, renewable energy, data centers, medical equipment, electronics, aerospace, defense, and telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to produce parts according to work orders, drawings, blueprints, travelers, and production requirements.
- Select, position, align, and secure dies in the machine ram and bed for accurate forming operations.
- Verify workpiece dimensions using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other inspection tools.
- Adjust machine settings, ram pressure, die clearance, and related controls based on material thickness and specifications.
- Identify and report defective materials, unusual conditions, machine issues, or faulty equipment to the supervisor.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, machines, storage areas, and related equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience.

- Set up and operate press brake machinery for metal fabrication production.
- Read blueprints, interpret drawings, follow travelers, and work from written production instructions.
- Inspect parts and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot machine, material, and quality issues during production.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant machine operation, press brake, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent relevant manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret production drawings accurately.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, measuring tape, and other inspection tools.
- Basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in different units of measurement.
- Understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed, push up to 60 lbs as needed, and carry up to 20 lbs for short distances.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, load and unload material, and bend, kneel, squat, or walk as required.
- Willingness to work early or late shifts, overtime, weekends, and Saturdays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal forming, or welding-related production environments.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or drawing interpretation in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with quality procedures, inspection documentation, travelers, and production reporting.
- Ability to safely position workpieces manually or with crane assistance.
