Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Hazleton, PA. This role is ideal for a safety-focused production professional with manufacturing, warehouse, machine operation, or forklift experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Machine Operator, you will support daily production operations by running manufacturing equipment, monitoring product quality, moving materials with a forklift, and assisting with shipping and receiving. Key Responsibilities

- Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment safely according to established procedures and production requirements.
- Set up, adjust, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment to meet quality standards and reduce downtime.
- Inspect finished products, maintain accurate production records, and complete required documentation.
- Operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including loading, unloading, and verifying inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety policies, GMPs, and quality procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: Hazleton, PA.
- Multiple shifts open.
- Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate production equipment and support daily manufacturing output.
- Perform forklift material handling for raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
- Inspect products, document production activity, and help maintain quality standards.
- Support shipping, receiving, equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance.

- 1-2 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience required.
- Previous machine operation experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment or product issues.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, palletizing equipment, and production machinery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, adaptable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with palletizing equipment, shipping and receiving, inventory verification, or basic equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with GMPs, quality procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
