Job Summary

A growing contract manufacturing company in the nutritional products industry is hiring a full-time Machine Operator in Livermore, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented production professional with warehouse, food manufacturing, or pre-weigh experience who is comfortable working with powders, formulas, allergens, and production documentation.

The Machine Operator will support the Pre-Weigh team by measuring, weighing, documenting, and preparing raw materials for the next stage of production. Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret work orders, formulas, batch records, and Master Manufacturing Records to prepare materials accurately.
- Pull raw materials from the warehouse and verify released materials are in acceptable condition for production.
- Weigh powders and raw materials according to formulas, specifications, and batch documentation.
- Operate small blending equipment for premixes and sanitize equipment after each use.
- Clean storage containers, tools, and production equipment to maintain food production and sanitation standards.
- Transfer pre-weighed materials and required documentation to the blending department while supporting production goals.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation range provided: $23.00 to $27.00 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Location: Livermore, CA.
- Occasional Saturday overtime may be required.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Accurately weigh raw materials and powders for production formulas.
- Read and follow work orders, formulas, batch records, and production documentation.
- Prepare, clean, sanitize, and transfer pre-weighed materials and equipment.
- Support production goals while maintaining quality, safety, and documentation standards.

- 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, warehouse, food production, or machine operator experience preferred.
- High school diploma, related experience, or equivalent background required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and write lot numbers accurately.
- Basic math skills required, including measurement, weighing, and production calculations.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working around noise, powders, and allergens in a production environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform physical labor required in a manufacturing environment.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in nutritional products, supplements, powdered beverages, premix, capsules, or food and beverage production.
- Experience working on a pre-weigh, blending, batching, or sanitation team.
- Familiarity with formula-driven production, batch records, and quality-focused manufacturing processes.
