This Machine Operator Position Features:

Position Summary
The Encapsulation/Tablet Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining encapsulation and tablet compression equipment in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or supplement manufacturing environment. This role ensures products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company quality standards, GMP regulations, and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Operate encapsulation and tablet compression machinery according to production procedures and batch records.
Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality, weight, hardness, and consistency standards are met.
Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of equipment and production areas.
Accurately complete production logs, batch records, and related documentation.
Conduct in-process checks and report deviations, malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with product changeovers and equipment setup between production runs.
Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet manufacturing goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience operating encapsulation, tablet press, or related manufacturing equipment preferred.
Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food manufacturing, or similar regulated environments is a plus.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and follow batch records, SOPs, and production instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and safety regulations.
Familiarity with tablet compression tooling and encapsulation systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Work Environment
Manufacturing/production facility environment.
May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, masks, hairnets, and safety glasses.
Flexible schedule and overtime may be required based on production demands.
