The MRI Technician is responsible for operating MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. This role involves preparing patients for scans, ensuring their safety during procedures, and working closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for medical evaluation. The MRI Technician must maintain a patient-focused approach while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirments:
•Completion of an accredited MRI Technology program required.
•Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technician in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
•Licensure/Certification:
oCertification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or equivalent certification is required.
oCurrent CPR/BLS certification.
