Proficient Computer and Phone skills
Hours: 9am-5pm 7-hour workday
MLS (Multiple Listing Service)
· Provide day-to-day support for MLS system (processes, issues, access, rules, compliance) questions and escalate complex items as needed.
· Maintain MLS integrity and compliance by enforcing rules, updating listing data, and managing access credentials and the compliance/violations database.
· Sets up and maintains MLS access rights for members as well as Clerical Users and MLS Teams
· Handle lockbox-related member support/troubleshooting, and app guidance while managing lockbox orders, sales, consignments, returns, and replacements.
· Deliver MLS training and one on one member education (in person, virtual, or offsite)
· Coordinate Broker Tour activities, including preparing reports and packets, communicating with participants, and supporting sponsors.
· Support MLS vendors and third-party data licensees through documentation review and coordination
· Update procedural documents, training websites, and related materials while creating marketing content that promotes MLS benefits, initiatives, and rules updates.
Qualifications:
· Strong customer service skills with clear, professional verbal and written communication and a member-focused approach.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred depending on role.
· Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or MLS operations strongly preferred.
· Proficiency with office software including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn MLS platforms.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and demonstrate sound judgment in routine decision-making.
· Must not hold an active California Department of Real Estate license
Position and Physical Requirements:
· Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods while working at a computer.
· Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds as needed.
· Ability to move about the office to access files, materials, and equipment.
