Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA within the real estate and property management industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, water leak troubleshooting, light fixture repair, and appliance repair.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting throughout the property.
- Handle plumbing repairs, water leak issues, light electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry tasks.
- Repair and service appliances, fixtures, and building systems as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, professional, and service-focused manner.
- Inspect work areas, identify repair needs, and help maintain a safe, clean, and functional property environment.
- Work closely with team members and property staff to complete projects and daily maintenance priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $28 to $29 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform hands-on maintenance repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems.
- Troubleshoot water leaks, light fixtures, equipment issues, and general property maintenance concerns.
- Support daily property operations by completing repair requests and preventative maintenance tasks.

- Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, water leaks, light fixtures, and appliance repair.
- Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work well with a team.
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with property staff and occupants.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in real estate, property management, apartment, multifamily, commercial property, or facilities maintenance.
- HVAC or EPA certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a high-quality property environment with a focus on professional service and timely repairs.
