Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Renton, WA. This role is ideal for a proactive warehouse and logistics professional who enjoys leading daily operations, improving processes, coordinating with vendors, and keeping clients informed on delivery status.

As the Logistics Manager, you will oversee a small warehouse environment that plays a key role in supporting timely, accurate deliveries and strong client service. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support a small warehouse team while promoting an efficient, collaborative, and service-focused work environment.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and delivery coordination.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to support timely procurement, cost-effective service, and dependable supply chain performance.
- Track deliveries and shipments to ensure schedules, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding delivery updates, shipment status, and issue resolution.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse processes to improve organization, efficiency, and operational reliability.

Compensation and Benefits

- $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily logistics, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
- Lead warehouse staff and support efficient workflow in a small team environment.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, delivery tracking, and client communication.
- Maintain accurate inventory controls and ensure timely, quality-focused delivery performance.

- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in logistics, warehouse management, shipping and receiving, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and support contract or service negotiations.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client, vendor, and internal team interaction.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make informed operational decisions.
- Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing operations in a small warehouse or hands-on logistics environment.
- Background supporting client-facing delivery updates or service communication.
- Experience improving warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, or delivery tracking procedures.
