Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Logistics Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity supporting warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material movement operations. This role is ideal for a self-directed logistics professional who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of daily priorities, and keeping warehouse operations organized, accurate, and efficient.
This position offers a stable onsite work environment with the opportunity to make a visible impact in day-to-day operations. Because the onsite team is small, this role is well suited for someone who enjoys autonomy, clear expectations, and the ability to manage their work with minimal supervision while contributing to smooth logistics and inventory flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, store, and organize materials.
- Receive, inspect, label, track, and organize incoming shipments while preparing outgoing orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, complete regular cycle counts, and report shortages, discrepancies, or supply needs.
- Coordinate deliveries, pickups, material movement, and warehouse logistics activities to support operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment while following all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, suppliers, and internal contacts to resolve issues and support timely workflow.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range is $27.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- 100% onsite position.
- Current work location is Kent, WA.
- Operations are expected to relocate to Tacoma, WA next year.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to both Kent, WA and Tacoma, WA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Coordinate daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling operations.
- Manage accurate inventory tracking, documentation, counts, and warehouse organization.
- Operate forklifts to support receiving, storage, order preparation, and material movement.
- Prioritize daily logistics tasks independently in a warehouse environment with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 3 years of logistics, warehouse coordination, inventory control, supply chain, or related experience.
- Current and valid Forklift Certification is required.
- Hands-on forklift operating experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Strong inventory management, inventory tracking, and warehouse organization skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using inventory systems or related software.
- Ability to work independently, stay focused, and manage workload without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance, dependable transportation, and ability to commute to Kent now and Tacoma in the future.
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to follow warehouse procedures and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
- Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory management software.
- Background in supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or similar warehouse-based operations.
- Experience identifying process improvements related to warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
