We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Bill of Lading (BOL) experience, excellent data entry skills, and proven abilities in inventory management and vendor communication. The successful candidate will ensure accurate shipment preparation, intake, documentation, and coordination with drivers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and packaging
Receive and intake inbound shipments, verifying quantities and condition
Create, process, and review Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping paperwork
Perform accurate, high-volume data entry related to shipments and inventory
Track, update, and maintain inventory records in internal systems
Coordinate and communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and delivery drivers
Schedule pickups and deliveries as needed
Resolve shipping discrepancies and documentation issues promptly
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area
Follow established company procedures and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in shipping and receiving or logistics coordination
Proven, hands-on experience creating and processing Bills of Lading
Strong inventory management and inventory control skills
Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with vendors, drivers, and internal teams
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems
Strong problem-solving skills related to shipping discrepancies and logistics issues
