We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help us improve the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of our logistics operations.

Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in managing day-to-day shipping, receiving, scheduling, and inventory activities. This individual will coordinate with vendors, carriers, warehouses, internal departments, and customers to ensure shipments are handled efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving Coordination

Process, schedule, and track incoming and outgoing shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, air, and international).
Prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and labels.
Verify shipment accuracy, product counts, and documentation before release.
Monitor delivery statuses and proactively resolve delays or exceptions with carriers.

Inventory & Warehouse Support

Maintain accurate inventory records by entering receipts, adjustments, and product movements.
Coordinate with warehouse staff on material staging, storage locations, and order fulfillment priorities.
Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation efforts.

Vendor & Carrier Communications

Serve as point of contact for carriers, freight partners, and third-party logistics providers.
Negotiate shipment schedules, rates, and service levels as needed.
Resolve logistics issues quickly to prevent production delays or customer impacts.

Internal Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with purchasing, production, and customer service to ensure alignment on material needs and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate tracking spreadsheets, logistics dashboards, and shipment logs.
Provide daily/weekly reporting to leadership on shipments, inventory discrepancies, and logistics KPIs.

Process & Efficiency Improvements

Identify inefficiencies in logistics or inventory systems and recommend improvements.
Assist with implementing new systems, processes, or software tools.
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


Required Qualifications

2-4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse coordination, shipping/receiving, or related field.
Strong understanding of domestic shipping practices; international logistics experience a plus.
Proficiency with logistics software and tools (ERP, WMS, TMS, Excel, shipping platforms).
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs occasionally.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar.
Familiarity with freight classes, Incoterms, and customs documentation.
Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments.
Experience analyzing freight costs or improving logistics workflows.
