Our client located in the Punta Gorda area is seeking a Logistics Coordinator
This role is temp to hire, 8am-5pm with an hour lunch.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing warehouse logistics and the movement, storage, and inventory of specialized operational equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that equipment, materials, and supplies are properly maintained, tracked, and deployed to various operational locations in a secure and efficient manner.

The Logistics Coordinator works closely with warehouse staff, transportation vendors, field personnel, and internal departments to coordinate the preparation, staging, and transportation of equipment to multiple locations throughout the region.

Outside of peak operational periods, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance schedules, operational checklists, and ensuring all materials remain organized, functional, and ready for deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse operations related to the storage, organization, and distribution of specialized equipment and operational supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of equipment, materials, and related assets.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure all equipment is properly accounted for in asset tracking systems and stored according to established procedures.
• Develop and maintain operational checklists and procedures to ensure equipment readiness and efficient warehouse workflows.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including organization, inventory management, equipment testing, and preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party transportation vendors to schedule and oversee the transport of equipment to and from operational sites.
• Assist with the preparation, staging, and deployment of equipment and materials for large-scale operational projects and events.
• Ensure proper handling procedures and documentation protocols are followed when moving and storing equipment.
• Work with field teams and operational staff to distribute, collect, and track equipment before and after deployment cycles.
• Support warehouse organization and workflow improvements to maximize efficiency and maintain operational readiness.
• Assist with troubleshooting logistical issues related to equipment deployment and retrieval.
• Maintain documentation related to equipment movement, inventory tracking, maintenance schedules, and warehouse operations.
