Job Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Account Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned customer accounts and manage day-to-day account needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while developing trusted advisor partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support timely and successful delivery of logistics services and solutions.
- Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate services, and price solutions based on knowledge of the shipping process.
- Track account activity, forecast key account metrics, and identify growth opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
- Maintain accurate customer and account data in CRM, WMS, OMS, and related database systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Salary exempt position.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as the primary contact for logistics service needs.
- Support account retention and growth through relationship management, issue resolution, and service recommendations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of services and solutions.
- Maintain accurate account information in CRM, WMS, OMS, and database systems.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant logistics, customer service, or account management experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong understanding of the shipping process and ability to think through logistics service requirements.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate data.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented work style.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, operations, customer service, and other internal teams.
- Ability to assist with high-severity customer requests or escalations as needed.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time and occasionally move throughout an office environment.
- Ability to frequently communicate with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel by automobile occasionally and drive oneself as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or account management highly preferred.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Experience supporting customer appointments or partnering with sales teams is a plus.
