Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Logistic Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Cataño, PR within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a bilingual logistics professional with strong import/export administration experience, a solid understanding of traffic operations, and the ability to support and guide a high-performing logistics team.
The Logistic Supervisor will support daily traffic and logistics operations, help ensure compliance with documentation and customs processes, and serve as an operational point of reference for team members. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Traffic Manager with daily planning, task assignment, follow-up, and operational guidance for Traffic team members.
- Monitor compliance with traffic and logistics processes, including claims management, freight quotations, bookings, customs entries, cargo releases, SURI transactions, billing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare, validate, and submit shipping and import/export documentation, including ITN, BOL, EEI, invoices, receiving folders, and related logistics records.
- Use logistics platforms such as SURI, Steam Ship, ATR, Arbalet, and Workday to execute key traffic, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouse operations, procurement, accounting, traffic analysts, and management to resolve issues and support domestic and international shipments.
- Act as an alternate leader in the absence of the Traffic Manager and contribute to SOP updates, KPI compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000 per year.

- Support daily traffic and logistics operations, including import/export documentation, carrier follow-up, customs processes, and shipment coordination.
- Provide functional leadership to Traffic team members, including task follow-up, operational support, cross-training, and issue resolution.
- Monitor logistics compliance activities, including claims, freight bookings, billing, reconciliations, monthly reports, and audit-related requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to maintain accurate, timely, and efficient domestic and international shipment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics, transportation, traffic operations, import operations, or a related field.
- Intermediate knowledge of end-to-end traffic and logistics processes, including shipping operations, customs procedures, freight consolidation, documentation management, logistics systems, and supplier coordination.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using logistics systems such as SURI, Steam Ship, and ATR.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, written and verbal, is required.
- Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and ensure proper follow-up on assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
