Key Responsibilities

- Review, process, and maintain loan documentation, account records, payment information, and related financial data.
- Support loan servicing activities, including account updates, payoff information, status changes, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
- Communicate with internal teams, borrowers, vendors, or other stakeholders to gather information and resolve loan-related questions.
- Ensure loan files and financial records are accurate, complete, organized, and compliant with internal policies and applicable requirements.
- Research discrepancies, prepare reports, and support audit, compliance, and month-end finance activities as needed.
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $42,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process and maintain loan documentation, account updates, and related financial records.
- Research and resolve loan account discrepancies, payment questions, and documentation issues.
- Support reporting, reconciliation, compliance, and internal finance processes.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders regarding loan-related matters.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in loan processing, loan servicing, finance, banking, accounting, or a related financial operations role.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation, account maintenance, payment processing, and financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, financial systems, loan servicing platforms, or similar business software.
- High level of accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the education industry, student loan servicing, financial aid, banking, credit, or finance.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, reconciliations, or financial reporting.
- Familiarity with loan servicing systems, ERP platforms, CRM tools, or document management systems.
