Job Title: Loan Processor (VA & FHA) – Internal Support
Compensation: Up to $24/hour
Location: Remote (Must reside in Florida, Texas, or Arizona)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Processor to provide internal support to our Loan Originators, managing VA and FHA loan files from submission through closing. This is a non-customer-facing position focused on internal collaboration, file integrity, and maintaining an efficient loan pipeline. If you excel behind the scenes, are well-versed in government loan guidelines, and enjoy keeping transactions on track, this role may be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage VA and FHA loan files from application to closing with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
-Partner closely with Loan Originators to ensure smooth file progression and resolve issues quickly
-Review loan packages for completeness and adherence to VA/FHA requirements
-Gather, verify, and organize borrower documentation including income, assets, credit, title, and appraisal
-Submit files to underwriting and proactively clear conditions through final approval
-Monitor pipeline deadlines to ensure timely closings
-Coordinate internally with underwriting, closing, and compliance teams
-Maintain clean, accurate, and compliant files within the loan origination system (Encompass or similar)

Qualifications

-Minimum of 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience
-Strong knowledge of VA and FHA loan guidelines
-Proven ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
-Experience using loan origination systems (Encompass preferred)
-Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
-Comfortable in an internal support role with no direct borrower interaction
-Clear, professional communication skills for internal collaboration

Preferred Experience

-Supporting high-volume Loan Originators
-Familiarity with DU/LP and mortgage compliance requirements (TRID)
-Demonstrated ability to clear underwriting conditions efficiently
