About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Loan Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing loan applications to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with documentation, and experienced in coordinating with borrowers, lenders, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and process residential and/or commercial loan applications from intake through closing
• Verify borrower information, including income, credit, employment, and assets
• Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with borrowers, underwriters, loan officers, and third parties to resolve outstanding conditions
• Order and review necessary documentation such as appraisals, title reports, and insurance
• Maintain clear and accurate records in loan processing systems
• Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround time targets
Qualifications
• Experience as a Loan Processor within a bank
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office tools
• Background in banking, mortgage, or financial services
• High School Diploma or GED required
