About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing Specialists to support critical fiscal year-end activities. This is a short-term, high-impact opportunity ideal for candidates who are between assignments or recently rolled off a contract.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring loan accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Management:
- Review loan files and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Coordinate loan bookings and updates to existing loans
- Manage receipt, scanning, and indexing of loan documentation
- Monitor compliance through reports (primarily using Microsoft Excel)
- Track loan status and follow up on outstanding items
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve issues
- Assist in maintaining policies, procedures, and training materials
- Analyze loan data and trends to support leadership decisions
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support ad hoc projects including audit requests and business analysis
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business OR equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or loan processing
- Ability to understand and explain amortization schedules
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with SAP
- Knowledge of loan origination, structuring, and servicing
