Litigation Paralegal – Medical Chronology & Trial Preparation
A respected AV-rated law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with strong medical chronology and trial preparation experience to support a busy insurance defense litigation practice. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, organize, and manage medical chronologies and case summaries
Draft motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and other legal documents
Summarize depositions, medical records, and case-related documentation
Coordinate and assist with all phases of trial preparation
Manage litigation files, deadlines, and court filings
Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal resources
Support attorneys in business litigation and government-related matters
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely case progression
Qualifications
4–10 years of litigation paralegal experience
Strong background in insurance defense litigation preferred
Extensive trial preparation experience required
Experience preparing medical chronologies and reviewing medical records
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Westlaw
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
Strong attention to detail and professional work ethic
