We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Litigation Paralegal with strong Florida construction litigation experience to join our dynamic legal team in downtown Orlando. This full-time, on-site position supports attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services to clients while managing complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with deep knowledge of Florida courts, litigation procedures, and document management systems. You will play a key role in legal research, trial preparation, discovery management, and client communication across multiple active caseloads.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys with litigation and trial preparation, including coordination of courtroom logistics and trial attendance.
Draft and file legal documents, motions, pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence in compliance with Florida court procedures.
Manage and organize complex document productions (electronic and hard copy); experience with Relativity and litigation databases is a plus.
Conduct legal research and write summaries and memoranda for attorney review.
Handle court filings and communications with court administrators and regulatory bodies.
Maintain and organize case files, including exhibits, privilege logs, transcripts, and discovery materials.
Coordinate with outside counsel and litigation vendors on case support and document services.
Manage timekeeping, billing entries, and track billable hours accurately to client matters.
Collaborate across firm departments (billing, conflicts, intake, etc.) to support attorneys and case requirements.
Provide administrative support across multiple attorneys and maintain confidentiality with client matters.
Qualifications
Paralegal degree, Legal Studies degree, or Paralegal Certificate required.
Minimum 5 years of law firm experience, with a focus on Florida construction litigation.
Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously in a fast-paced legal environment.
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation preferred.
Proven knowledge of Florida court rules, electronic filing systems, and litigation timelines.
Strong understanding of legal terminology, litigation life cycle, and case management protocols.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience with legal software including FileSite, CMS, SmartTime, and Aderant (a plus).
Familiarity with Relativity, document review platforms, and time tracking systems.
Ability to manage large volumes of data and documents accurately and efficiently.
Work Environment
This is a fully in-office position located in Orlando, FL (32801).
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a professional office environment.
Compensation
Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience.
