Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for a highly organized legal professional with deep experience supporting complex litigation matters from case inception through trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeal.
The Litigation Paralegal will join a high-performing legal team that values accuracy, collaboration, professionalism, and client service. Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, post-trial, and appellate matters.
- Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, exhibits, discovery materials, transcripts, and trial documentation.
- Manage written discovery, document reviews, productions, deposition preparation, and expert discovery support.
- Conduct legal and factual research, prepare summaries, chronologies, memoranda, and analytical reports.
- Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, notices, and other litigation-related documents while coordinating state and federal court filings.
- Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, evidence materials, and provide courtroom and trial support as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 to $115,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Schedule: In-office Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
- Location: Dallas, TX.
- Occasional travel to courthouses or trial sites may be required.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during trial periods or heavy case activity is required.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support complex litigation matters from filing through trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeal.
- Manage discovery, document productions, deposition preparation, and litigation databases.
- Coordinate state and federal court filings, trial preparation, exhibits, and courtroom support.
- Conduct legal research, document analysis, cite-checking, proofreading, and procedural compliance.
- 8 to 10 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
- Strong background supporting complex litigation cases.
- Proven trial experience, including exhibit preparation and courtroom support.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with litigation support and document management systems.
- Familiarity with Relativity, Opus 2, Adobe Acrobat, and state and federal e-filing systems.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, pleadings, filings, and evidentiary rules.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, project management, and deadline management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Accurate daily timekeeping and ability to support special projects and litigation team initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Certified Paralegal designation is a plus.
- Experience supporting high-stakes, complex commercial litigation or similar sophisticated litigation matters is preferred.
- Experience using Relativity and Opus 2 in active litigation or trial preparation environments is preferred.
