Are you a seasoned litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? A premier defense firm is seeking a high-caliber Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who is passionate about the "nuts and bolts" of litigation and excels at providing top-tier support through every phase of a case from initial intake to the trial floor.

The Role
Our Paralegals are integral to our success. You won't just be managing files; you will be performing high-level billable work that directly impacts client outcomes. We are looking for an expert who can navigate complex medical chronologies, manage heavy caseloads with poise, and serve as a vital link between attorneys, experts, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
Medical Intelligence: Expertly summarize medical records and billing, creating detailed chronologies that pinpoint critical case facts.

Discovery & Production: Oversee the end-to-end discovery process, including electronic data management, bates labeling, and meticulous privilege redacting.

Trial Ready: Serve as a "right hand" during trial prep; manage exhibits, coordinate witness subpoenas, and provide hands-on assistance in the courtroom.

Expert Liaison: Manage the lifecycle of expert witness involvement—from vetting qualifications to overseeing retention and ongoing communication.

Investigative Research: Utilize online resources and firm databases to conduct deep-dive background checks (criminal, civil, and litigation history) and secure authenticated records.

Financial Stewardship: Review vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure timely processing with the accounting department.

Candidate Profile
The Professional: You remain calm under pressure, treat colleagues with respect, and possess a "team-first" mentality.

The Communicator: You can articulate complex ideas clearly, whether you are speaking with a carrier or drafting a memo for a partner.

The Tactician: You are highly organized, punctual, and able to juggle competing deadlines without dropping the ball.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience (Insurance Defense required).

Specialization: Prior experience handling Medical Malpractice claims is strongly preferred.

Education: College degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.

Credentials: Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) status and prior Trial Experience are significant pluses.

Tech Savvy: Proficient in standard office hardware and litigation software.
