About the Role
Join a high-performing civil defense team in Florida focused on complex insurance defense and medical malpractice cases in state and federal courts. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled paralegal to contribute to litigation from case intake through trial preparation while collaborating with experienced attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars for state and federal cases
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, trial binders, and deposition summaries
• Conduct legal research and analyze case materials
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal teams to support litigation
Requirements
• Paralegal certificate or degree with 3+ years of litigation support experience
• Proven experience in insurance defense or medical malpractice litigation
• Knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures and filings
• Ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
