AppleOne is seeking a proactive and highly organized Litigation Paralegal with substantive practice experience to join a law firm team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support through all phases of litigation, from initial discovery to trial preparation. This role requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of Florida civil procedure and e-filing systems.

Litigation Paralegal-Direct Hire- 100% Onsite - Channel Side District

Key Responsibilities:
• Case Management: Manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met and files are maintained with meticulous accuracy.
• Drafting & Filing: Prepare legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and subpoenas. Handle electronic filing (e-portal) in both state and federal courts.
• Discovery & Records: Coordinate the collection and review of medical records, financial statements, and evidence. Prepare deposition summaries and discovery responses.
• Trial Support: Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including the creation of trial notebooks, exhibit lists, and managing logistics for expert witnesses.
• Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and judicial assistants, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal (Complex Commercial Litigation experience preferred)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Westlaw/LexisNexis, trial presentation software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Education: Paralegal Certificate or associate’s degree in paralegal studies is highly preferred.
• Location: Ability to work on-site at our Channel District office in Tampa.
