Litigation Paralegal
Location: Orlando, FL 32801
Salary: $60,000–$80,000
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Office, Mon–Fri 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
An established law firm in Orlando is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in litigation, product liability, and insurance defense. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of longevity at prior firms, who have been thoroughly vetted and can thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
About the Role:
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support attorneys by managing complex legal tasks, preparing and reviewing documents, conducting research, and coordinating all aspects of case management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, experts, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, and inspections at attorneys’ requests
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and exhibits
Maintain case files and data in Aderant Total Office (ATO) and shared drives
Conduct legal research and review court rules, administrative orders, and case law
Manage deadlines, case charts, discovery, and trial preparation
Investigate facts and backgrounds of parties and cases, including online and social media research
Coordinate with experts, attorneys, and witnesses for trial preparation
Track and record billable hours, meeting a 1600-hour annual target
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and case management systems efficiently
Work independently and collaboratively on ongoing projects and special assignments
Qualifications:
Proven experience in litigation, product liability, and insurance defense
Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and court structures
Experience managing high-volume casework and deadlines
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ethical, detail-oriented, and able to maintain composure under pressure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems
