Location: Downtown Orlando, FL
Billable Hours Target: 1600 annually
Salary: up to $78k annually + Benefits

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is ideal for a highly organized legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong understanding of litigation procedures, Florida court systems, and case management tools.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation—from case intake to trial preparation. You’ll handle everything from legal research and drafting documents to managing case deadlines and coordinating with clients and experts.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate complex schedules, including meetings, inspections, and conferences at the request of attorneys
Draft and format a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, memos, charts, and correspondence
Maintain accurate and organized case records using Aderant Total Office (ATO) and shared drives
Conduct legal research and background investigations, including online and social media searches
Apply knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and local court requirements to ensure full compliance
Manage case timelines by calculating and tracking important legal deadlines
Prepare discovery responses and trial materials; track document production and coordinate with expert witnesses
Create and maintain trial and expert budgets
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other involved parties in a professional manner
Support attorneys with special projects, court preparation, and overall case management
Record billable time in accordance with client and firm standards

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a paralegal in a litigation-focused law firm
Deep understanding of Florida court procedures and legal terminology
Proficiency with legal case management software (ATO experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines independently and as part of a team
High ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions
