Direct Hire | 100% Onsite (Seattle, WA) | Washington State Residents Only
Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000 per year (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (1-hour lunch from 12 PM – 1 PM)

Position Overview
The Litigation Legal Secretary will provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and litigation teams, ensuring smooth operations across case preparation, filings, and client management. You will play a vital role in trial preparation, e-filing, and coordination of critical case logistics, while also supporting firm-wide administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities
File legal documents in Washington State and Federal Courts.
Support litigation teams with trial preparation, case file organization, and deadline management.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, depositions, and conferences.
Maintain attorney calendars and contacts using Microsoft Outlook.
Draft, edit, and organize legal documents, correspondence, briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
Process dictation and archive client matters.
Provide client intake support and assist with non-billable administrative tasks.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff on firm-wide projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Washington State litigation experience REQUIRED (King County preferred).
Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Litigation Secretary or Legal Administrative Assistant.
Strong knowledge of e-filing systems, discovery processes, and trial preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), shared drives, and case/document management software.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to handle a high-volume workload and meet performance expectations within 3 months.
Professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability for occasional overtime.
Abilities & Workplace Expectations
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and maintain productivity for extended periods.
Dress code: Professional attire for court appearances, business casual for office days, and casual Fridays (jeans allowed).

Hands-on training covering calendar management, scheduling, filing systems, and internal procedures.
