Job Title: Litigation Legal Secretary – Washington State Litigation Experience Required

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch, 12–1 PM)
Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000 annually (DOE)
Work Environment: Onsite first 30 days, then eligible for 1 remote day per week

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary with Washington State litigation experience to support our trial teams. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for trial preparation, court filings, case management, and client support while ensuring compliance with state and federal court requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents in Washington State and federal courts (e-filing required).
Support litigation teams with trial preparation, discovery, and case file organization.
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and client contact databases in Outlook.
Schedule depositions, hearings, meetings, and conference rooms.
Draft correspondence, briefs, contracts, and pleadings at attorney direction.
Maintain and archive client matters; process dictation and other administrative tasks.
Provide client intake support and handle non-billable departmental needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Washington State litigation legal secretary experience (King County preferred).
Strong knowledge of Washington State court rules, e-filing, and discovery processes.
Prior trial preparation experience highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and shared drive systems.
Ability to handle a high-volume workload with accuracy and meet deadlines independently.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Training & Support: Comprehensive onboarding with our Lead Litigation Coordinator, including calendar management, scheduling, and access to a detailed desk guide.
Dress Code: Professional attire for court; business casual for regular office days. Casual Fridays (jeans permitted).
Commute Options: Parking available onsite (employee-paid) or ORCA transit card provided.
Overtime: Occasional overtime required, sometimes on short notice.
